Hello there!

Thank you for your interest in joining, first of all, we're excited to hear that.

Dreamwidth RP is similar to tumblr (which is where I am assuming you tend to rp on, tumblr or facebook), think of your journals as your tumblr blog, where you're allowed to post anything you want, as many times as you want.

For scenes, it depends on what your preference and what the other person's preference is. Some people prefer to scene through AIM chats, while some like sceneing over twitter dms (most people create twitters for their muses/characters, since it is fitting for the setting), and some like to thread through comments on journal posts. The last one is the most similar to scening on tumblr, though these entries tend to be locked just to that person (which can be set up via custom friend's lists through dreamwidth).

I understand that this isn't the best explanation, but there are some guides as to how dreamwidth works, particularly for rp stuff. some of the information is outdated, so if you have any questions about stuff from what I've linked you, you can just pm and ask!
